Welcome New Families!
On behalf of the PTO and the entire LJES community, I'm happy to welcome you to our school! I am confident that you and your children will enjoy the La Jolla Elementary community as much as my family has over the past 4 years.
Our website is full of important information that will keep you informed about all that we do at LJES so visit often! Please be sure you have also signed up to receive our Eblasts.
A member of our Welcoming Committee will be contacting you soon, but in the meantime, please feel free to contact me if you have questions, comments, or need anything at all!

Please attend our mandatory Back to School Sign Up Day event on Wednesday, August 29 from 8:30-10:30am or 5-7pm (you can drop in during those time blocks to fill out all of the necessary paperwork to get the year started off). This event is for all returning and new families, including incoming kindergarten families.

**If you have not registered your child/children in the school office yet, you will need to do so prior to the 8/29 Sign Up Day. The office will reopen on Monday, August 20. Please bring 2 proofs of residency, your child's birth certificate or passport, and a copy of his or her immunization records. If you have any questions about this process, you may call the office at 858.454.7196 after August 20.

School resumes at 9am on Tuesday, September 4. Please join us in the auditorium after drop off for the Back to School Welcome Coffee.
