The Book Fair

Kids LOVE to choose books at the LJES Book Fair! Supoort our library by visiting the fair and purchasing books for your child or your child's classroom, all at reasonable prices. All money raised will be used to purchase new books and materials for our school library.

Your child's class will be visiting the book fair during school hours. Students will browse the selection and fill our a "Wish List" of books that look interesting. It's a great way to encourage reading!

The Book Fair will be open to parents from Tuesday, November 6 through Friday, November 16 during the following hours:

Grand Opening is Tuesday, Nov. 6th, from 3:30 - 4:40
Before school (starting Wed. Nov, 7th) from 8:30 - 9am
After school from 3:30 - 4:00 on full days and 12:45 - 1:15 half days, including Parent/Teacher Conference days
At the Open Aire Market on Nov. 11th
During the Family Dance on Nov. 15th
The book fair closes Friday, Nov. 16th at 9:00 am

(Online sales begin October 31 and end November 20)

Can you help? We need volunteers for short shifts before and after school and to help students with their wish lists when their class visits the Book Fair. We also need help during the Open Aire Market on November 11 and during the Family Dance on November 15. Sales volunteers should plan to attend a brief cash register training on Monday, November 5 at 3pm or Tuesday, November 6 at 8:15am.
