the LJES Auditorium (Girard Avenue entrance)

WHO:
all new and returning families (including incoming kindergarten families)
who have already enrolled at LJES
(complimentary childcare available)

Are you new to LJES?
Be sure to enroll in the LJES office BEFORE Sign Up Day.

WHY: Attending Sign Up Day will allow you a "one stop shopping" approach of tackling many of the back to school sign up tasks. Aside from streamlining the paperwork process for parents, your attendance allows our teachers to focus on classroom instruction, rather than managing paperwork, and allows our front office to function more effectively during the first few days of school.

BRING:
proof of residency(original phone/utility bill PLUS A COPY FOR SCHOOL RECORDS)

checkbook or credit card for payments

Vons Club number for Escrip

forms you preprinted/filled out

Checklist form (noting any purchases made online BEFORE Sign Up Day)

GREEN AREA - DONATE TO LJES / PURCHASE PRODUCTS

donate to the Annual Giving Campaign (AGC)
purchase tickets to the Back to School Cocktail Party (10/4 from 6-9 at La Jolla Cove Suites)
join the PTO
purchase yearbooks
purchase dinner tickets for the Back to School Family Picnic (Wahoo's taco platters) (9/21/12: event is free)
join the Birthday Book Club (click here for form)
purchase LJES logo wear (outside in the lunch arbor) *samples will be available for viewing and sizing

BLUE AREA - COMPLETE MANDATORY DISTRICT AND SCHOOL REQUIREMENTS

hand in proof of residency (please bring original and a copy of your current utility OR phone bill)
approve/edit enrollment cards
fill out and sign district mandated form (please read facts for parents)
pick up disaster preparedness form (bring form and completed kit back on first day of school- not to SUD)
fill out volunteer background check form and pick up TB test info
fill out LJES Directory consent form

RED AREA - RECEIVE AND/OR SIGN UP FOR IMPORTANT SCHOOL ITEMS

receive information about volunteering at LJES and sign up for volunteer opportunities
sign up for Eblasts
sign up for Escrip (please bring your Vons Club card number)
