2010-2011 Annual Giving Campaign
Dear LJES Community,
 
     The Friends of LJES* would like to thank you for making our Annual Giving Campaign (AGC) last year a success. Because of your generosity we raised the funds we need to continue our excellent programs.
 
     LJES relies on the AGC to bridge the gap between state funding and the cost of providing our students the high quality educational experience we have all come to expect.  As you are all aware the funding for public education has been cut drastically so now more than ever we need your help!
 
     We are asking that each and every family make a tax deductible donation in order to continue to provide the enriching programs that we are able to offer our students. Our goal this year is $100,000 and 100% participation. It is only through your generosity that the following can continue:
 
·        Additional teachers to support 3rd-5th grades
·        Art expert and supplies          
·        Choral music expert and supplies    
·        Technology expert and equipment
·        Full time library technician                    
·        Everyday Math books and supplies                      
·        Instructional supplies to support classrooms daily
 
     The programs mentioned above cost $575 per year per child.
