Family Science Night will be held on Friday, April 13, 2012.

This year's theme will be
 

Activities will relate to:

• parts of a wave
• frequency of sound waves & pitch
• creation of sound & controlling pitch with musical instruments
• sound traveling through air, water & solids
• animal detection of sound
• electronic detection of sound
• devices that enhance or amplify sound
• ultrasound

We will turn our campus into a science lab! Students and parents will walk from station to station conducting scientific experiments with a common theme. There is no charge for this amazing, family event! There will be food and drinks for sale to benefit the 5th grade promotion fund.
