Back to School Sign Up Days
(mandatory for all new and returning families)
Wednesday, August 31 anytime between 5-7pm
Thursday, September 1 anytime between 11-1
in the LJES auditorium
(complimentary childcare available)
Please note: If you are new to LJES, please register your children in the office BEFORE Sign Up Day - you will not be able to register your children during Sign Up Days. The office is now open.
*please bring your checkbook or credit card, proof of residency, and your Vons Club card number for escrip.
Sign Up Days will allow you a "one stop shopping" approach of tackling back to school sign up tasks. Aside from streamlining the paperwork process for parents, your attendance allows our teachers to focus on classroom instruction, rather than managing paperwork, and allows our front office to function more effectively during the first few days of school.

You may download and fill out many of the forms prior to coming to Sign Up Day. Please click on the links below and bring the completed forms with you. (All forms will also be available at Sign Up Day) Click here to download all the paperwork at once.
You will be able to pay for everything that requires payment all at once at Sign Up Days, or you may pay online by clicking individual links below which will take you to the Payschools accounts for both PTO and Friends,. Please use the Sign Up Day Check List Form below to keep track of anything you purchase online.

At Sign Up Days, you will be able to do the following:
COMPLETE MANDATORY DISTRICT AND SCHOOL REQUIREMENTS
RECEIVE AND/OR SIGN UP FOR IMPORTANT SCHOOL ITEMS
- Fill out the Directory Consent Form
- Sign Up for eBlasts
- Sign Up for eScrip
- Sign Up to Volunteer
- Receive Information about the Recycling Campaign and Service Learning Projects
PURCHASE PRODUCTS AND DONATE TO LJES
- PTO Membership (to join online, click here)
- Yearbook (Sign Up Day price of $22 - reg $25)
- Logo Wear (samples and order forms will be available at sign up days)
- Birthday Book Club Form/Birthday Book Club Payment (books will be available to view at sign up days)
- Tickets for dinner for the Back to School Family Picnic (event is free)
- Tickets for the Back to School Cocktail Party
- Annual Giving Campaign
- Purchase tickets to the La Jolla Art and Wine Festival
