Budget Cut Information
We know that many of you have questions and/or concerns regarding how the SDUSD budget cuts will affect La Jolla Elementary School directly. Fortunately, we attend an amazing school with incredible resources. While there is no way to know exactly how severe the cuts will be, please be assured that Principal Tripi along with our teachers, staff and parent groups, have already been doing a great deal of planning to ensure that our current level of personnel and enrichment programs (music, art, technology) continue for the 2010-2011 school year due to the fundraising efforts of Friends of La Jolla Elementary, Inc.
HOWEVER, this doesn't mean you should sit back and relax! The Board Members and our state legislature need to hear from you!
Here's What You Can Do:
1. Let the School Board know your priorities. What is most important to you? Class size? # of school days per year? A full range of academic programs?
